WHAT’S UP

ICT Responsible Use Agreements – Last year we introduced an updated ICT Responsible use agreement for students. We are now introducing a new agreement for staff, which has been emailed to you. Please read, sign and return a copy of the agreement to myself or Hanka in the Hub office by Friday 12th May. If you have any queries about the agreement, please see TMG.

Closure of North Parade – Downer have been working on the Dudley Creek Flood Remediation Project for the last nine months. When the bypass is completed, there will be 800 metres of 4m x 2m underground pipe from the Petrie Street outlet, across North Parade and down Medway Street, to the Avon River outlet. The work is expected to start Wednesday 10 May and will take about eight weeks to complete. There will be a road closure on north Parade, where the Randal Street and Medway Street work sites meet.

The Mother of All Clean Ups – Saturday, 13th May 2017, Start 10 am @ Avondale Bridge (Bassett St/Avondale Rd) (approx. 2hrs)

On the eve of Mother’s Day the Christchurch community will take the opportunity to give something to Mother Nature (Papatūānuku) cleaning up her rivers and estuary. We have students participating from Hockey and Rowing teams as well as the Outdoor Education classes. Would be great to have some staff members involved. If you are free, then come on down. You can also join the SBHS Avon Clean up Facebook page.
