Each year Shirley Boys' High School receives
more applications from Christchurch students
for enrolment in the school than we have
places. Students who live within the school
zone have by right a place. Admission for
those who live beyond the zone, and apply
for a place, is by ballot. Copies of our prospectus and application
forms may be obtained from the School
Office, North Parade [office hours are 8.00
am. - 4.30 pm.]

Year 9 Enrolment Dates
for 2010
2 June - Year 9 2010 enrolments open
2 June - Open Night (Beginning at 7:00pm in
the School Hall)
3 June - Charles V Gallagher Academic
Scholarship examination (1-3pm School Hall)
30 July - Enrolments close for Year 9
3 August - Ballot for year 9 enrolments
6 August - Parents receive
acceptance/non-acceptance letters
